Is Dodge Keeping the Grand Caravan?

640 × 426

Last fall, there were rumors about the discontinuation of the Dodge Grand Caravan--and they weren't particularly shocking at the time. After all, Dodge was making moves toward more and more powerful sports cars, and FCA's wild new Pacifica minivan was soaking up the spotlight.

But, here's the kicker:

The Caravan is still here. And it looks like it'll be around at least through 2019.

The family-friendly Grand Caravan doesn't feature any major changes for the 2019 model-year, except for the addition of an auto-dimming rearview mirror standard on all trim levels and a trimming down of its model configurations. It was released to the US late this year, to stay in testing and production longer while beefing up its airbag systems.

Top 4 Reasons to Buy a 2019 Grand Caravan

  • Low starting price: the stylish and bold new 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan starts at just $26,250
  • Powerful engine: all SE and SXT trim levels come standard with a 283-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 gas engine
  • Sporty ride feel: it may be a minivan, but it's still a Dodge. The 2019 Grand Caravan was engineered to offer a more responsive, lighter driving feel than other bulky minivans can
  • Combined 21 mpg: this surprisingly sporty van is also surprisingly efficient. While it can't quite match the numbers of the Pacifica Hybrid, the Dodge Grand Caravan won't break the bank at the pump
