2018 Dodge Durango in Duluth

The 2018 Dodge Durango SUV is More Powerful Than Ever

Dodge has never known as one to blend in; so, it shouldn't be too much of a surprise to learn that, for 2018, the brand has added an all-new Dodge Durango SRT into the mix. It's a hefty, V8-powered beast that boasts over 450 horsepower and can tow up to 8,700 pounds. It's a Durango that can compete with pickup trucks--but can still carry seven passengers comfortably. Bring it on it.

Give Me More, Give Me More

That refers mostly to the interior, but the idea of "give me more" is pretty applicable to the Dodge Durango in its entirety. This is a three-row SUV that wants to give. From incredible legroom in the third row of seats, to standard features like heated mirrors and three-zone climate control, to a cargo-boosting, seat-erasing option on the base SXT model, the Dodge Durango lets you do more, with more.

Attitude with Pliability

The 2018 Dodge Durango may not have seen a major redesign since 2011--but nobody's really complaining. Bold, brawny muscles and a massive grille never go out of style, and the Durango's full-belt racing taillight is fully, unapologetically Dodge. It's loud, it's brash, it's big and in-your-face... and it's hard not to love it.

Power, Power, and More Power

The Durango is a muscly monster from the get-go: standard power comes from a 293-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission; rear-wheel drive is standard but all-wheel drive is available on all models. A 360-horsepower 5.7-liter V8 engine is standard on the 2018 Durango R/T, and a 475-horsepower V8 engine is standard on--and exclusive to--the 2018 Durango SRT, which also offers standard AWD.

Beauty and Brains?

The good-looking Durango really does have it all; it's as smart as it is fast and powerful. Standard features in the new 2018 Dodge SUV include a 7.0-inch touchscreen system that works with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and displays driving assistance through a standard rearview camera. It's a safe crossover option, too, offering available automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, a forward collision warning system with automatic braking, and lane departure warning and lane keeping assist.
