2019 Ram 1500 in Duluth

The Ram 1500 Full-Size Truck is All-New for 2019, But Still All About the Options

The Ram 1500 is known for offering more options, configurations, trim levels, and overall styles than any of its competition--to the pleasure and occasional shopping confusion of its fans. This iconic truck is all-new for 2019, and an even more capable version than ever before. Trim levels for the all-new generation include the Ram 1500 Tradesman, Big Horn (Lone Star if you're shopping in Texas), Rebel, Laramie, and the Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn.

An Interior Built for You

Along with being one of the most varied full-size trucks out there, the 2019 Ram 1500 also offers some of the most comfortable and well-equipped cabins on the market. Who says working hard can't be comfortable? With hundreds of possible combinations for cab style, trim level, interior color, and package options, you can build a cabin that fits you perfectly. Features like dual-zone automatic climate control, wood trim, heated and ventilated leather front seats, and upgraded premium stitched leather upholstery really set this sleek and classy truck apart. New upgrades to the interior for 2019 include active noise cancellation, an updated dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and a larger touchscreen display for the Uconnect infotainment system. You can also add heated seats in the front, and ventilated seats throughout the cabin, and even reclining rear seats. This is a truck that was really made for the people.

A Rugged New Design That Prioritizes Aerodynamics

The design of the 2019 Ram 1500 is completely new from the previous generations--but it does keep a lot of the classic looks that we love: everything from the rounded nose of this powerful truck, to bold badging, to clean lines and a well-balanced back end all complement a design that's timeless. But a lot sure has changed. The new 2019 truck offers a class-exclusive Active Front Air Dam and active grille shutters to control the flow of air in order to optimize for air flow no matter what speed you're traveling. The improvements have given the all-new Ram 1500 best-in-class aerodynamics--which may not be something that you'd normally associate with a pickup truck.

Full-Size Truck, Full-Time Power

A truck with this many trim levels and upgrades is going to have more than one powertrain. The new 2019 Ram 1500 offers an eight-speed transmission as standard, with choice of rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. An all-new 3.6-liter Pentastar V6--still good for 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque--comes standard on most models; but a robust 5.7-liter V8, making 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque, is available. Both of these smart engine options arrive with a new Ram technology called eTorque: it's essentially a replacement for the alternator that acts as starter, generator, and motor all at once. It performs the same functions as an alternator, but it can also charge the battery when you break or decelerate. What's exciting? eTorque can add up to 90 pound-feet of low-end torque for the V6 engine, and up to 130 pound-feet of low-end torque for the V8 engine. Max tow rating boosts up to 12,700 pounds--max payload moves up to 2,300 pounds.

Work Smarter

You've heard the expression "work smarter, not harder"--but why can't you do both? Hard work gets you places... smart work just gets you there a little faster. The well-equipped new 2019 Ram 1500 offers an available 8.4-inch touchscreen Uconnect infotainment system that makes for the perfect mobile office--with smartphone connectivity, Bluetooth capabilities, and navigation. Opt for a higher trim level for a massive 12.0-inch touchscreen, and an available 19-speaker Harman Kardon Premium Audio System for full, studio-quality surround sound. Remote start and front and rear parking sensors help you have more control when navigating in tight spots.
